Description
This one particular branch must have the best vantage point. I sat and waited for the hummingbird to come to the flowers. I waited and waited. Finally I noticed this little guy sitting on a branch in the pine trees. I got tired of waiting so I went toward the pine tree to get his picture there. He just watched me as I approached. Pretty soon I heard the high pitched trill of another hummingbird approaching. Immediately this little guy huffed up and started looking tough. He defended his branch valiantly.
